MANAGERS MESSAGE
Daylesford is a fantastic place to spend a leisurely day strolling around, browsing through the antique and speciality shops. Make sure you are rugged up as it sure gets chilly here in winter! Jubilee Lake is lovely during the winter, the air is crisp and often the oval will be covered in frost— there’s nothing better than wrapping up warm and taking a walk around the lake or heading into the Wombat State forest for a leisurely stroll—and you can’t beat the smell of wood fires burning! And if you are lucky enough to be here when it snows the park looks truly magical.
A visit to The Mill Market is always a great option on a chilly day, a large space filled with individual stalls selling antiques, collectables, retro clothing and a great place to pick up second hand books you can get lost in there for hours! Or you could treat yourself to a pampering session at one of our local spas, there are a huge range of treatments in and around Daylesford, top that off with a meal at one of our local eateries, the recipe for a perfect day!
We hope you enjoy your stay at Jubilee Lake
Best wished Sharron, Stewart & The Team
