Park rules

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations more than 7 days prior to arrival, will not attract a cancellation penalty.

Within 7 days prior to arrival, a 5% penalty will be deducted and the balance transferred into a client account for use within 12 months.

Payments for bookings will be forfeited if cancellation is made within 24 hours of arrival.

CHECKOUT/IN

Check in time is 2.00 pm & Check out time is 10.00 am. Please contact reception to make alternate arrangements (subject to availability).

  1. GUEST SAFETY

Occupants must comply with any directions of the Park Owner/Manager in relation to compliance with the Occupation Health & Safety Act 2000 and the Occupational Health & Safety Regulation 2001.

  1. RECEPTION/KIOSK HOURS

Please refer to contact us page for opening hours.

  1. HOLIDAY PARK HOURS

Normal operating hours are between 9am-5pm. Please refer to contact page or ask at check in for opening hours.

  1. FEES/REFUNDS

We have a no refund policy if you decide to leave early for any reason.

  1. QUIET TIME

Quiet time is between 10pm & 8.00 am. Thank you for considering other guests and residents. Excessive noise, animal noise, offensive language or antisocial behaviour will not be tolerated.

Management reserves the right to terminate occupancy of any person(s) at anytime. No music between 11:00 pm and 10:00 am.

  1. BALL GAMES

Please refrain from playing ball games in areas that may affect other guests. All children must be supervised so that they are not in danger or a nuisance to other people.

  1. BICYCLES, ROLLERBLADES, SKATEBOARDS, SKATES, NOISY OR MOTORISED TOYS

Bicycles only are permitted in the park. Public road rules apply, including wearing your helmet, and riding is only permitted during daylight hours. Rollerblades, skateboards, skates and noisy or motorised toys are not permitted.

  1. DAY VISITORS

All Visitors are asked to leave by 10.00 pm.

  1. LAUNDRY

For the convenience of all guests please remove clothes from washing machine, dryer & clothes line when load is finished or dry.

11. AMENITIES

The amenities will be closed for daily cleaning, at times displayed on each block. An adult must accompany children under 7 years when using the amenities block. Sanitary products place in bins provided. No dogs, smoking, eating, drinking or glass items in the amenities block. Please report any shortages of paper or other items to the Manager. For your own safety please wear appropriate footwear.

  1. OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY – GENERAL

Under no circumstances can any amenities be used for cooking or cleaning of cooking equipment. No smoking in or within any public building.

  1. SITES

If you have paid for an unpowered site you are not permitted to use power from a powered site. No generators permitted on any site or cabin. Each site permits 1 caravan, annex & 1 vehicle or 1 Tent & 1 vehicle.

  1. GARBAGE

All garbage is to be placed in the bins provided. All recyclables are to be placed in large yellow bins located around the park. (No bottle tops, plastic bags or house hold garbage to be placed in these bins). lf staying in a cabin please wrap all vegetable peelings or any seafood before placing into bins located at the steps of your cabin.

  1. BBQ AREAS

The main BBQ area is not to be used after 10:00 pm and the camp ground BBQ area cuts out at 1 1 pm. Please consider other guests and scrape BBQ’s after use but do not clean with water.

No portable BBQ’s are permitted on the decks of the cabins.

  1. FIRES

lf in doubt consult the park manager.

All open fires are to be contained in appropriate fire drums.

-Bring your own pits (must be elevated off the ground), or have one delivered straight to your site via hire at the kiosk.

-Fire pits can be hired through the office, for the duration of your stay. Please note: fire pits are already provided with most cabins. 

-Save the hassle of transporting wood by having a 20kg bag delivered straight to your campsite for a fee via the kiosk. Kindling is also available.

Open fires are not permitted on total fire ban days. Fires must not be left unattended and fully extinguished at the end of the day. A container of water must be kept near by. Dispose of ash in designated ash bins located around the park.

  1. VEHICLES

Speed limit in the park is walking pace or 1Okm. All cars must be parked on your site or in public car park.

  1. PETS

Dogs are permitted however they must be on a lead at all times to protect the peacocks and other guests and wildlife. Pets are not permitted in the buildings, amenities cabins or caravans (unless specified pet friendly). Owners must clean up after pets including disposing of any poo in the bins. No excessive barking or noise after 8pm.

  1. POWER

Only 15amp approved caravan power leads and plugs can be used. Ensure all your electrical leads and connections are inspected and tagged regularly and comply with Australian standards. Power leads must not extend to other sites.

  1. SULLAGE

Water from your caravan must be discharged into sullage point, or a bucket on unpowered sites.

  1. SECURITY

Lock up your property when the site is unoccupied. Management takes no responsibility for theft or damage of your property.

22. PADDLEBOAT AND CANOE HIRE

There must be at least one person over the age of 18 to hire a canoe or paddleboat. Children must be 12months or older.

Lifejackets must be worn at all times.

A safety briefing will be provided on the day. 

You will be required to read, understand and sign the agreement form if you wish to participate in this activity.

23. FISHING

THE MANAGEMENT reserves the right to evict any person contravening these Rules & Conditions, Council By-laws, Caravan Park & Removable Dwellings Regulations, disrupting the harmonious running of this business or causing grievance to the staff, managers or owners of this business. The management reserves the right to increase site fees or change these rules and regulations without notification. The management has the right to refuse site usage or entry to any person.
